Long Point - Old Campground Site 222 - We LOVED Long Point!! This pretty much sums it up ... Beach Breakfast Beach Lunch Point Rowen for Ice Cream Beach Dinner Beach Campfire The kids met a friend named Joop (Yo-p) from Holland on the beach and they were like glue ... Happily played and imagined the days away. Pirates, mermaids, sharks - it was great. We were on an unpowered site which was steps from the beach. The bathrooms here - GROSS!! The old campsite has a gate and you need a pass to get in so its quiet and our part of the beach was very quiet with warm water and beautiful calm water surrounded by sand bars. Staying on a sand campsite means ... Sand everywhere, I mean absolutely everywhere!! Next time the powered sites a few down from us would also make good locations - a bit grassier. Definitely will return to Long Point!!
