Long Point - Well, we're on the road again - like gypsies!! We've spent more time in our trailer this summer than our own beds!! Livin the life!! Headed to Long Point Provincial Park today and again we have found another beautiful provincial park - thank you Martins for recommending this one. Our site is all sand and we are steps away from the beach. It was HOT when we arrived and we were all soaked from setting up the camp site. We had a late lunch and headed for the beach. The kids immediately went in the water and didn't come out!! This beach rivals beautiful Destin Beach and feels almost Florida like. Beautiful white sand, clear water and some sand bars. The water was calm and Matt spent some time skim boarding on the sand bar, A got her mermaid tail out and J met a friend from Holland and had fun making holes in the sand bar. The water was super warm so it was easy to go in and hang out, I even sat on the sand bar for awhile and took some nice pics. Matt and A had enough of the beach and headed back to our campsite. J and I stayed and enjoyed the sun. I think it was about 7:30 before we packed up and headed in. We had a late dinner of chicken skewers and fresh picked corn - delicious!! A little incident with some boiling water and Matt's foot but not to worry first aid training kicked in and we cooled it. It'll hurt a bit tomorrow but I think he's going to be alright - no amputation needed!! Then some rain blew in, which was a perfect time to blog!! It's stopped now and it has cooled things down a bit - time for some cards or Skipbo. Our plan for tomorrow ... Beach!!
