Day 12 - Maple Ridge/Vancouver

Today we went into Vancouver to meet Aunt Linda for lunch at The Local Public Eatery at Kitsilano Beach. Great lunch & great company. Then the McManus Clan met us and we went for a swim at the pool on the ocean. The kids had fun splashing around and I got a chance to catch up with Geraldine. It was nice to see everyone even if it was a short visit. We finally caved and bought a new battery for the trailer so here's hoping that our trailer issues are solved and it will work properly without any "McGyver" fixes or screw driver magic. Fingers crossed!! Spent the evening with Nan, John, Carol, Janice, Sarah, Adam and their kids. Ate pizza, watched the kids swim, a few whale wars and caught up. The little cousins had fun getting to know each other and splashing around in the pool. A was so tired tonight she fell asleep typing up her blog!! Crossing over tomorrow and heading back towards home. It's off to Washington state in the morning and our adventure continues ... Night!
