Today was mostly a driving day. We sadly left Tracey & Shaun's and headed onward. We stopped at Chippewa Falls for lunch and made a visit to the giant goose in Wawa. I was reminded today of what a beautiful province Ontario is. We saw some breathtaking scenery from the highway so I can only imagine if we stepped off the beaten path, what we would see. We also stopped in White River to see Winnie the Pooh. We finally arrived at our camp site and were welcomed by eighty-thousand black flies. There were so many I was coated in them. But we had the most beautiful camp site at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park (Rossland), our campsite #15 backs right into the beach of Lake Superior. We had hamburgers, topped off with s'mores for dessert and walked the beach to watch the sunset. It's eight degrees tonight, so I can see my breath. I'm pulling on my touque, climbing into my sleeping bag and saying "goodnight"!! PS ... Did I mention I won the "golden marshmallow" contest tonight??
