Day 13 - Ellensberg, Washington
We left Maple Ridge, BC this morning and headed into the states. It was a relaxing day today, not too busy, not too much driving. The "magic" happened this morning and the trailer has a new life and went down on the first try - no glitches!! Yay!! The drive into Washington was uneventful. We stopped at the Tulalip Outlet Mall outside of Seattle - yay!! We did a little shopping (very little by my standards) and had lunch at one of our favourites Taco Del Mar. Then back on the road to Ellensberg. It is unbelievably dry out here and the landscape is parched and yellow. There has been a total fire ban since Saskatchewan. A is pretty disappointed that we aren't having fires and all the fun desserts that go with them. We arrived at the Ellensberg KOA around dinner, trailer went up - no glitches!!! The kids had a swim and then played at the park. It is a really nice campground on the Yakima River. Clean, friendly and we'll run. Finally, finished my book 'Going Clear' ... Very interesting book about Scientology. Anyway, on to Montana tomorrow. Night all!!
